Choosing the right career path after Class 12 is one of the most crucial decisions in a student’s life. Unfortunately, thousands of students in rural and semi-urban areas of India struggle without proper guidance, exposure, or resources. Many end up in unsuitable courses, drop out, or join low-paying jobs, simply because they did not have access to career awareness and counseling at the right time.

Since 2009, Bharat Calling Initiative has been working relentlessly to bridge this gap by empowering students with informed career choices. Our programs have already supported over 440 young people in finding the right educational pathways across fields like engineering, fine arts, physical education, social sciences, and performing arts. Their success stories are proof that the right guidance at the right time changes lives.

Now, we are launching the Career Guidance & Counseling Program for Class 12 students in three schools, directly impacting over 300+ students. Through structured workshops, aptitude assessments, personalized mentoring, and parental engagement, we aim to ensure that these students not only know their options but also have the confidence and support to pursue them.

What We Will Do:

• Conduct awareness workshops to introduce students to diverse career fields.
• Provide career interest and aptitude tests for self-discovery.
• Share updated information on courses, entrance exams, and scholarships.
• Offer one-on-one mentoring and counseling sessions for students and parents.
• Ensure follow-up support for six months to track progress.
• Train teachers as in-school career mentors for sustainability.

Expected Outcomes:

• 90% of students will be aware of at least 3 viable career options.
• 70% of students will make clear, well-informed career decisions.
• 80% of parents will support their children’s career aspirations.
• Significant increase in higher education enrollments in suitable courses.

Budget Requirement:
To implement this program across 3 schools for 300+ students, we require ₹5,57,550. This covers facilitator honorariums, printed materials, aptitude tests, parental sessions, follow-ups, travel costs, and logistics.
